Bicycle in the Garden and Mollie Makes Magazine

Mollie Makes Magazine sent me a complimentary issue of their August issue (see magazine cover above). Inside the issue is a photo of mine taken from last year of my “Indian Summer” bicycle picnic.

I was inspired for another bicycle picnic, so off I went with my new magazine in hand! This time I rode over to a garden – with a rusty bicycle situated as the garden sculpture centerpiece. I wore pink, drank pink lemonade, devoured sugar dusted teacakes. I so enjoyed reading my magazine -- offering plenty of homemade ideas, DIYs and other good reads within it’s pages.

We always get our most beautiful summer weather during the months of summer and on into October. We're about to have weeks worth of very warm weather so I won't be wearing Fall and tweedy inspired looks for awhile...

So many folks are tweeting the RL Rugby Tweed Run NYC -- it is starting to go viral. Much effort has gone into getting the word out. Hundreds, if not thousands of people are discovering Tweed Runs and Tweed Rides for the first time!

RL Rugby Tweed Run has done such a good job promoting with fashion models, celeb social media types -- all wearing gorgeous head to toe RL clothing (no surprise) in a series of signature tweed ride styled videos and photo layouts.

No wonder people living outside of New York City wish they could join a Tweed Run or Ride!

Bamboo Bicycle and My Mickey Mouse Shorts

This is not my bamboo bicycle, but I thought I’d give a try riding around a big empty parking lot. I know I would love to own this bike. For now I just hope to get lucky enough to borrow it from time to time. (And of course I wear a helmet I just took it off for the photos).

When it comes to shorts -- my favorites right now are these vintage 80’s Mickey Mouse shorts, they’re corduroy, so comfy…

Tweed Run & Ride goes Really Commercial - Tweed Run NYC

As any organizer of a friendly tweed bicycle ride would certainly agree it's very nice to get help in defraying the costs of organizing a ride.

I refrain from naming names but lets just say a very big name in fashion is pulling this off with the biggest name in Tweed Runs / Rides.

Imagine a Bicycle

Love the fashions dancing through the march of time in this highly entertaining video... Imagine a bicycle re-do. What I mean is doing this idea again, only with a bicycle going through the march of time too. Bicycle styles seem to be be a lot more static. Bicycles haven't really changed so much until rather recently. Currently I'm reading Cyclepedia.
